I live in the PNW, with my little family and six ducks.

At my core, I'm a bit of a fusion artist with a deep-seated love for science, a heart that beats for helping others, passion for fostering community, escaping into nature, and love spending any free time creating culinary experiences.

Over the past five years I’ve had to make some major changes in my life and over time I've had countless people ask about my lifestyle changes, hence this blog was born.

In July 2018, I experienced a sudden and intense sensation of my mouth being on fire. Over the last five years, I've consulted with numerous specialists and undergone a myriad of tests, leading to a diagnosis of a complex case of some sort of reflux and burning mouth syndrome.

Needless to say, it was an unexpected twist in my life's plot and over this time I’ve learned a lot, improved my health, and learned to manage my chronic conditions.
